These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Global Maps via our website or online platforms. By ticking the checkbox to accept these Terms and Conditions and completing payment through our online payment gateway, the client (“the Buyer”, “you” or “your”) confirms that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms in full.
Google™ Third-Party Notice
Global Maps operates as an independently. We are not employed by, endorsed by, or official agents of Google™ or any other search engine or platform. “Google”, “Google Business Profile”, “Google Maps” and related names are trademarks of Google LLC. We manage Google Business Profiles strictly in accordance with Google’s policies for third-party representatives.
- Services – Google Business Profile (GBP) Management
Global Maps provides professional management and optimisation services for Google Business Profiles (GBP).
1.1 GBP Management Service
– We will assist with the claiming, verification, setup, and ongoing management of your Google Business Profile.
– This includes optimisation of business information and other standard GBP features.
– Verification codes (postcard, phone, email, or other methods provided by Google) are sent directly by Google. It is your responsibility to forward any verification code or PIN to Global Maps promptly so verification can be completed.
– Once verified, you authorise us to manage the profile as a Manager.
1.3 Contract Term & Billing
– The service is provided on a month-by-month rolling basis unless a longer term is explicitly agreed in writing.
– Standard pricing is £33 + VAT per location per month (or the price agreed at signup).
– If you choose to pay 12 months upfront, the contract will be for a minimum term of 12 months from the date of the first payment.
– Payments are taken automatically via our secure online payment gateway on the anniversary of the initial payment date.
– By making the first payment and accepting these terms, you authorise Global Maps to manage your Google Business Profile.
1.4 Cancellation
– You may cancel the service at any time by providing written notice via email at ‘support@globalmaps.co.uk’.
– Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month. No pro-rata refunds will be issued for partial months.
– If you cancel after a payment has been taken, that month’s fee remains due and is non-refundable.
- Landline Number & Call Forwarding Service
As part of our Google Business Profile Management service, at no additional charge, we offer one inbound-only landline number per customer, with call forwarding. This offer must be requested and agreed explicitly by the customer. This offer is supplementary to our Google Maps Listing (GBP) Management product, and offered at no additional charge. Where the buyer has elected to not receive this offer, or has not explicitly agreed for us to provide this extra service, no reduction in price shall be provided.
– The landline number is rented to you for the duration of your active subscription and remains the property of Global Maps at all times.
– The number and call-forwarding service are provided exclusively while your GBP Management subscription is active and fully paid.
– If your account falls into arrears, Global Maps reserves the right to suspend or disable the call-forwarding service and/or the associated number until the account is brought up to date.
– Any misuse or abuse of the number (including, but not limited to, third-party sales calls, spam, or unauthorised use) is strictly prohibited. Global Maps reserves the right to immediately terminate the service and pursue any available legal remedies in the event of misuse.
- Guarantee information.
Due to the organic nature of Google Maps listings, Google Business Profile performance depends on factors outside our control (including your own businesses performance, any negative reviews by your own customers, Google’s algorithms, competition, your business operations, customer reviews, and searcher behaviour, Global Maps cannot and does not guarantee:
– Specific ranking positions on Google Search or Maps
– Any minimum number of views, clicks, calls, or leads
– 24/7 visibility of your listing
– Any particular outcome or result.
- Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
– Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date business information.
– Confirm you have the legal authority to authorise management of the Google Business Profile.
– Forward any verification codes or Google communications to us without delay.
– Comply with all applicable laws and Google’s Business Profile policies.
– Not request any actions that would violate Google’s rules.
- Payments & No-Refund Policy
– All payments are processed securely via our third-party payment gateway.
– Strict No-Refund Policy: All payments made to Global Maps — including initial payments, setup fees, and recurring monthly subscriptions — are non-refundable under any circumstances.
– As this is a business-to-business agreement, there is no cooling-off period. Payment and acceptance of these terms constitutes your binding agreement to the services.
– In the unlikely event of a service-related complaint, we will investigate fully and aim to resolve it within 5 working days. If the investigation proves a refund is warranted or in any case where a refund is offered, by accepting the refund, the buyer agrees that the act of accepting the refund means this would be a full and final resolution of the matter and no further money is to be provided to the buyer by us.
– Unauthorised chargebacks or payment disputes will be strongly contested. If the payment provider rules in our favour, we reserve the right to charge an administration fee of £100 + VAT per transaction to cover our costs.
- Independent Operation & Third-Party Policies
We act solely as an authorised third-party representative with your express consent and manage your profile in full compliance with Google’s Business Profile third-party policies. You remain the business owner and retain ultimate control of the listing. We strongly recommend you keep Owner access to your Google Business Profile.
- General Terms
7.1 Intellectual Property
All strategies, reports, and content created by Global Maps remain our intellectual property. You are granted a limited licence to use materials related to your Google Business Profile for the duration of the agreement only.
7.2 Liability
Global Maps shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses, including loss of profit, revenue, or business opportunity. Our total liability under this agreement shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 31 days preceding any claim.
7.3 Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the service immediately if:
– You breach these terms
– You fail to make payment
– You request actions that would violate Google’s policies
– Your Google Business Profile is suspended by Google
7.4 Data Protection
We process your data in accordance with applicable data protection laws (including UK GDPR). Please refer to our separate Privacy Policy.
7.5 Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will be available on our website. Continued use of the service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

From clients / buyers (“you”):
– Contact and identity information (name, job title, business name, email address, phone number, business address)
– Google Business Profile details (business information, verification codes, login credentials you provide or authorise us to access as Manager)
– Payment and billing information (processed securely via our third-party payment gateway)
– Correspondence and communications with us (emails, phone calls, support tickets)
– Call data (if we provide a call forwarding landline number): caller telephone numbers, call duration, date and time of calls (we do not record calls unless you explicitly request and agree to it in writing)
We do not collect special category (sensitive) personal data unless it forms part of your business information and is voluntarily provided.
- How We Collect Your Personal Data
We collect personal data:
– Directly from you when you complete our online signup form, make a payment, contact us, or authorise us to manage your Google Business Profile.
– From Google when you ask us to assist with verification or management of your Business Profile.
– Automatically through our website (cookies – see Section 9) or payment gateway.
- Why We Process Your Personal Data (Purposes and Lawful Bases)
We only process your personal data where we have a lawful basis to do so. The main lawful bases we rely on are as follows:
- Providing our Google Business Profile management and call forwarding services – Performance of a contract – To fulfil our obligations under the Online Marketing Agreement
- Processing payments and managing billing – Performance of a contract + Legal obligation – To collect fees and comply with accounting/tax rules
- Communicating with you about your account or support queries – Performance of a contract + Legitimate interests – To provide customer service
- Improving our services and analysing usage – Legitimate interests – To develop and enhance our offering
- Sending you service-related updates or marketing (where permitted) – Legitimate interests or Consent – Only where you have not opted out
- Complying with legal and regulatory obligations – Legal obligation – e.g. anti-money laundering, tax, or ICO requests
- Who We Share Your Personal Data With
We may share your personal data with the following categories of recipients:
– Google LLC – to manage your Google Business Profile as an authorised third-party representative (in line with Google’s third-party policies).
– Payment gateway / processor – to process your payments (they act as a separate data controller).
– Call forwarding / telephony provider – to route and manage inbound calls to the landline number we provide.
– Our professional advisers (accountants, lawyers) where necessary for legal or tax purposes.
– Regulatory bodies – if legally required (e.g. ICO, HMRC).
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
- International Data Transfers
We do not routinely transfer your personal data outside the UK. Where any transfer occurs (e.g. to Google in the USA), we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Standard Contractual Clauses.
- How Long We Keep Your Personal Data
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary:
– Contractual / service data — for the duration of your contract plus up to 6 years after it ends (for legal claims and accounting purposes).
– Call data — for up to 12 months (or longer if required for billing or dispute resolution).
– Marketing data — until you opt out.
After the retention period, we securely delete or anonymise your data.

Under the UK GDPR you have the following rights (subject to certain conditions):
– Right to access – request a copy of your personal data
– Right to rectification – correct inaccurate data
